Beautiful words don’t just come out of the tongue; they are born from the mind and it’s came from heart. If the mind is clean and beautiful, the words that flow from it will be beautiful too. Just like a bitter tree cannot produce sweet fruit, an ugly mind cannot produce sweet words. Words are always the mirror of our attitude.
Many people spend so much effort decorating their bodies—wearing fine clothes, showing off wealth, and shining outside. But they forget to decorate their inner self. Outwardly, they may look bright, but when they speak, the ugliness of their mind is revealed. Even a cuckoo, known for its sweet song, looks away when it hears the harsh voice of the crow.That is why, before anything else, the mind must be made beautiful. To make the mind beautiful, it must be freed from the things that pollute it. Just as a farmer removes weeds before planting flowers, we must uproot the weeds of ugliness from our hearts.
These weeds are: ignorance, arrogance, jealousy, pride, greed, anger, selfishness, cruelty, shamelessness, dishonesty, prejudice, narrow-mindedness, rudeness, and hatred.
If these remain in the mind, beautiful words can never grow.
Once the ugly is removed, we must sow the seeds of goodness. These seeds cost nothing—you only need sincerity and a pure intention. Plant in your mind: knowledge, compassion, humility, patience, forgiveness, generosity, gratitude, truthfulness, politeness, love, simplicity, respect, and kindness.
These are the flowers of the soul. When they bloom, every word you speak will carry fragrance and sweetness.
There are thousands of examples are there
When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was insulted, he did not reply with harshness. Instead, he prayed for the man. His beautiful words came from a beautiful mind.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Forgiving the People of Ta’if
When the people of Ta’if insulted and threw stones at him, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not curse them. Instead, he prayed for their guidance: “O Allah, guide my people, for they do not know.” His gentle words came from mercy and a beautiful heart.
A teacher who corrects a child with kindness instead of anger helps the child learn better, because gentle words touch the heart.
A Simple Modern Example
A schoolteacher once saw a poor student come without lunch. Instead of scolding or ignoring him, she quietly shared her own meal. Later, when the child thanked her, she smiled and said, “When you grow up, share your food with someone else in need.” A small sentence, but it planted a lifelong seed of kindness in the child’s heart.
A poor person who says, “Alhamdulillah for what I have,” shows more richness of mind than a wealthy person who always complains.
Even the simplest words can become powerful if they come from a clean heart. A sincere “sorry” can heal a wound, and a heartfelt “thank you” can bring joy to someone’s day.
Mahatma Gandhi’s Response to Insults
“I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.”

Gandhi was often mocked, beaten, and insulted during his peaceful protests. Yet, he never replied with harsh or hateful words. Instead, he used gentle speech like “Hate the sin, not the sinner.” His beautiful words came from a pure mind, and they inspired millions.
Mother Teresa’s Compassion
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
Inscribed on the wall of Mother Teresa’s children’s home in Calcutta.”― Mother Teresa

When people criticized Mother Teresa for working among the poor of Calcutta, she never responded with anger. She simply said, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” Her words carried kindness and humility, touching countless hearts.
So, let us wash our minds clean, throw away the weeds of ugliness, and plant the seeds of goodness. Then, our words will no longer be ordinary—they will become a source of comfort, healing, and inspiration for everyone around us or the humanity.
